Myself Belts: Easy as 1-2-3

There is a lot of movement going on in our house these days with a non-stop, energetic toddler who is neither short nor tall but just right. Basically that means, most of her pants are too long for her and a little too loose. I know it’s sort of a fad to have your pants hanging down off of your backside but I’m just not a fan of that for my two year old.

Luckily, there is a quick and easy fix for my problem. Myself Belts (retailing around $16.95). Perfect for the in-between stage and when your little one is old enough and working on potty-training, it’s ideal for their independence. They are adjustable by Velcro and come in an array of adorable colors and styles for boys and girls.

Two sisters and mompreneurs came up with this unique idea when they saw the lack of kid-friendly belts on the market. I think they were having the same problem as me.

Myself Belts also come in adult sizes (Retailing around $24.50). Think rehabilitation patients, individuals with cognitive issues and those with physical ailments. How about post pregnancy? Not quite ready to get out of those maternity pants but definitely not ready for your skinny jeans yet? Myself Belts are a great solution.

Recently we came across this great mompreneur who makes the most adorable visor beanies for the lil’ ones.  Born to Love Clothing is an online shop started by a stay-at-home-mom out of Bakersfield, CA.  They carry knitted beanies that are super stylish and right now is the perfect time of year for them. Each beanie has a signature Born to Love logo on the side.

A great selection for the little gals and the little dudes alike.  Hailey gets “aaawwww’s” wherever we go because she’s always sporting her Born to Love Visor Beanie. Works perfect when she plays out in the snow too, especially when the sun is so bright and glaring in our backyard winter wonderland.

I dig the unique, one-of-a-kind apparel that so many boutiques have to offer.   Three cheers for the internet because without it, we wouldn’t know anything about boutiques like Zazou.

Zazou‘s home is in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Created by a French-Dutch couple who feel the same way we all do about having fun, safe and colorful clothing for their kids. Lonneke and Didier believe in giving back to those less fortunate and also supporting environmental initiatives when they select the brands of clothing that they offer through their shoppe. Boutiques like Zazou are the ones who are going to make a difference for our children and we like that about them.

Petit Louie

Here is Hailey wearing her Vintage Lady tee from Petit Louie, one of the many cool brands that Zazou.eu carries. It’s a fun tee that always catches the attention of passersby. We love it when people ask us where we get our clothes.

I have so much fun browsing the selections at Zazou.  I’ve totally been drooling over these adorable boy and girl hats by Kik-Kid.  Winter is coming and I want to be prepared. Now, I just need to decide which one is my favorite.  Go see for yourself.

It couldn’t be easier to immerse your little ones in the teams you love. Now if you could only teach ‘em your alma mater’s fight song.

We have Lencho the Lion. Lencho makes a great friend for Hailey. He provides her a place to rest her little head, as he turns into a pillow.  If she’s cold at night, he provides her warmth with his coral fleece blanket.  He has a cuddly soft body and his face is filled with micro beads, which is really fun to squish!

Good For The Kids also carry a lovely assortment of inSTAMPables note cards, papers, pads, calling cards, wine tags, gift tags and personal stampers and embossers by Three Designing Women (insert breath here). I have one word for all of that and it’s “FUN”! I love this kind of thing. Anything I can personalize is alright by me.
