WHAT IS PARENTSPHERE?
The content that you read on ParentSphere reflects the lives of parents in their early 30′s, who love sharing information about products, services, events and awesome deals.
ParentSphere is a parenting lifestyle, product review, and informational resource blog. Our mission is to keep parents and caregivers in-the-know. Whether it is music, fashion, gadgets, or home decor; our coverage emphasizes products and discussion that will make the lives of dad, mom, and the teething two-year-old in the back seat a little bit more fun and interesting.
WHO WRITES HERE?
Hi. My name is Amy Mueller. I have been sharing my opinions online since 2003. Before that, I wrote in a paper journal that had a lock and key (I actually still have it, it’s hilarious). When I began blogging in 2003, my focus was on life in general. I got pregnant in 2004 and at that point, I mostly wrote about being ecstatically pregnant.
My husband and I had our first baby in 2005. I found myself connecting with other parent bloggers and realized how much they were helping to keep me somewhat sane as I muddled my way through those first trying months of parenthood. Making new, life-long friends online is fabulous and if that isn’t the bees knees in itself, there is so much cool stuff to be discovered online! While I was learning the ropes of parenthood, I unleashed my creative, entrepreneurial mind and started engaging in social media activities and writing product reviews. Then, in 2009, my husband and I welcomed our second daughter and I Tweeted during my labor and delivery. Take my word, it was a long, painful twenty-five plus hours.
I am also a contributing writer at The Chicago Moms and I am one of the original members of the Yahoo! Mother Board. You can also find me writing about kid’s music at KindieCast and the Kidzapalooza blog. My newest venture is called Swallow This Chicago, where I gab about social dining experiences in and around Chicago.
I reside in the Chicago area with my husband and two young daughters (ages 2 and 6). My husband is a former punk rocker (of Allister fame), turned dad, turned dress-code enforcer, who wrote a 2 minute and 4 second song about me, which made me fall in love with him and have his babies. He is currently pursuing his solo artist endeavors and tries to bribe me into being his manager by bringing me flowers and chocolates every day. (Eh, a girl can dream.)
The rest is history, people.
PRESS:
I was interviewed for an article in Chicago’s Daily Herald about The Power of Mommy Blogging and also appeared on a Today Show segment about deals and holiday shopping.
More about where I’ve gone and what I’ve done coming soon…

If you would like submit a product for review, please contact me. Please note, in order for me to personally review and promote your product, service or event; I will ask you to send a product sample or provide me with use of your service or access to your event. I really don’t bite, no matter what they may tell you.
MUSIC FROG (MUSIC REVIEWS)
Music is such a huge part of our lives, that it’s only fair that we highlight the topic and give it a featured spot on the site. Music Frog content includes the promotion of music suitable for adults and kids alike, giveaways, concert dates and artist news.
