Graco sent us the imonitor Vibe to try out with our new family member (who was born on 7/8/09). I’ve been pretty busy with said family member, hence the lack of updates lately.
So far, we’ve been really pleased with the sound quality of this monitor. I can’t believe that for three and a half years, we dealt with annoying static and occasionally picking up the cry of someone else’s child nearby. If that doesn’t freak you out, I don’t know what would.
Unless we have the washer or dryer running or someone is upstairs, we can’t even tell the monitor is on. Before Teagan arrived last month, we were using the imonitor vibe with our 3-1/2 year old. We could finally hear her sweet little voice with complete clarity. The monitor vibrates if you want it to and you can turn the volume completely down and still see if your baby or child is making noise by looking at the sound lights on the parent units.
We definitely recommend this monitor. We’re also fans of other Graco products, such as their playards and booster seats. In our opinion, you can’t go wrong with Graco products.

I’m happy to hear the positive feedback for this monitor. My wife and I registered for and received one of these that we need to test out very soon, with our first child due in less than 3 weeks.
I concur, this monitor was great for us, and other parents commented on it when seeing it in use at a party as well, they really like the vibrate function, and the clarity is great. I does pick up outside noises pretty well too, but overall it works great!
Are Wireless Baby Monitors Any Good?
So far, so good. We’ve been using it for 4-1/2 months now. Sometimes it cuts in and out depending on where in the house we have it sitting but generally, it gets good reception. Can’t really complain.
