I became a Harry Potter fan when I started reading the books to my son a couple of years ago. My husband was reading to him but a few nights when he was out of town and I read to him, I realized that they were actually really good. I got hooked.

i was waiting for the kids one day in the parking lot and had just picked up the book at the bookstore for one of them and well, really got into it and we ended up reading the first together and the rest was history

I am just getting into these books now. I was given the twilight 1st book and loved it now I am into the series, next I want to see what the Harry Potter series is all about.
I have not read the books, but I was a fan when the movies started.
I started reading Harry Potter when I was 12, and read the first 3 books which I borrowed from a girl in my class. Then I got the first 4 for my 13th birthday, and bought the 5th when it came out. Later I bought a few more for the special edition covers, lol.
The would be for my friend’s 7 year old daughter, who has been a fan since the first book.

My 2 grandsons and I were fans from the beginning. They couldn’t wait for each book to come out and to get a copy from Gram. I hope they have continued their love of reading,but with young adults,who knows.

I became a fan of Harry Potter 1 year after the first book was released and was hooked on the series ever since. I have read the books about 20 or more times each because I love the story line and being able to read one after another is great even though it was never racking waiting for the next book to come out. It’s time my nephews learn about the Harry Potter books.
Ever since the first book hit the book shelves, I have been a Harry Potter fan. My children have grown out of it, but not me. LOL! I can read the books and watch the movies over and over again! Love them.
I’ve never gotten the chance to read any of the books, but I have watched the movies. I love Harry Potter because it takes me away every time I watch those movies. It sweeps me right out of real life and reality every time. It’s such a magical series. And I hear the books are even better! I became a Harry Potter fanatic a few years after the fad had worn down among my friends, I was a junior in high school and watched the first film and immediately fell in love.
